"Enoch Woods English Scenery" is the pattern name of this double handle creme soup bowl. This piece has a light crack but appears only on the outside. It also has some slight crazing.
NOTE: each side of the urn backmark appears "ENOCH 1784" and "RALPH 1750" - in spite of these dates this ware does NOT date from the 1700's. This piece was made after 1917 and before 1960. (at this time exact date is unknown)
NOTE: a similar mark was used c.1960+, the 1960 mark has such words as "DETERGENT PROOF", "COLOURS UNDER THE GLAZE", "RESISTANT TO ACID AND ALKALI" and similar. Pick up is available by paypal or cash in the Hayward or Dublin areas of California.
